M1936 musette field bag.

OD3 cotton canvas construction. Manufactured by "Luce Manufacturing Co." in 1942.

This musette is identified with a full name and officer serial number. The name is hard to read. I was able to match the serial number to Carter Cordon or Gordon, a US Army officer who was stationed near DC in July 1941 (Pre Pearl Harbor). No information on his unit or later assignment were found.

Good condition with moderate field use. Several small light stains, and a couple small tear near the left strap.

Cette musette est identifiée avec un nom complet, et un matricule d'officier. Le nom est difficile a lire. J'ai pu retracer le numéro de matricule a Carter Cordon, ou Carter Gordon, un officier de l'US Army stationné près de Washington DC en Juillet 1941 (Avant l'attaque de Pearl Harbor). Aucune information sur son unité, ou sur son affectation n'ont été trouvées.

Bonne condition avec usure modérée. Plusieurs petites taches légères, deux petites déchirures a proximité de la base de la sangle gauche.
