M1918 wool service overcoat identified to John Bridges 1158111 on the lining.

A stamp in the collar in red ink indicates “US”.

A unit insignia and sleeve overseas / discharge stripes were once sewn and have been removed.

The manufacturer’s tag remains on the lining and indicates:

Un tampon situé dans la région du col indique « US » à l’encre rouge.

Un insigne d’unité, et les chevrons de démobilisation / service à l’outre-mer étaient montés sur ce pardessus mais ont été décousus.
